It’s time for OVALumination in Roseville!
OVALumination is a celebration fit for the glamor of the holiday season — with over 100 arborvitae and evergreen trees decorated top to bottom with lights illuminating the OVAL.
It’s free to view or enjoy skating underneath the lights; admission is only $5.50 and skate rental is just $4.00. Skate with this fun illumination, not to mention the various family friendly activities.
Kick-Off of OVALumination

Come celebrate the holiday season and attend the annual lighting ceremony for OVALumination at the Guidant John Rose MN OVAL. Mayor Dan Roe will help flip the switch to over 100 arborvitae and evergreen trees decorated top to bottom with lights by McCaren Designs. The first 100 people will receive a complimentary Gift Organizer courtesy of Rosedale Center and have a chance to win a $50 Rosedale gift card. No purchase necessary.
Santa’s Journey from the OVAL to Rosedale

The holiday season officially begins! Come send-off Santa to Rosedale Center from the south end of Guidant John Rose MN OVAL. Bring your camera and take a photo with Santa before he makes his grand journey aboard a Roseville Fire Truck to Rosedale Center. The first 200 people will receive a complimentary snowman wand plus a chance to win a $50 Rosedale gift card. No purchase necessary. During OVALumination, head out to the OVAL to take a picture with Ralphie from “A Christmas Story”! Upload your Ralphie photo to Twitter/Instagram/Facebook using the hashtag, #OVALumination for a chance to win a family four pack of tickets to see “A Christmas Story, The Musical” at the Ordway Center for Performing Arts on December 23rd. The contest starts November 7th and goes until December 11th. A winner will be chosen on December 12th and will be notified via social media.
