When your state fair is named #1 on the list of USA Today’s Best State Fairs you know festivals are a big deal in the Twin Cities! We definitely agree with the Minnesota State Fair being the best state fair, but there are other festivals to not miss when visiting Roseville and the Twin Cities in 2016.

Art in Bloom | April 28-May 1 | Minneapolis
Four day festival of fresh floral arrangements and fine art, presented by Friends of the Institute at the Minneapolis Institute of Art.

EcoArts Fest | May 14 | Saint Paul
Outdoor arts, environmental, and cultural celebration. This free festival engages kids and adults with fun activities that shed light on environmental issues through art making and show ways individuals can create change.

Art-A-Whirl | May 20-22 | Minneapolis
Art-A-Whirl is an open studio tour in Northeast Minneapolis. It’s a great opportunity to tour private artist studios and galleries, connect with the artists, and purchase original artwork.

Edina Art Fair | June 3-5 | Edina
Edina Art Fair sees 200,000 visitors throughout the 3-day weekend, while displaying 280 artists diverse collection of art, entertainment, kids zone, and beer gardens.

Art in the Hollow | June 4 | Saint Paul
Over 50 visual & performing artists, many creating works on site—glass mosaics, murals, sculptures, and painted furniture.

Northern Spark | June 11 | Minneapolis
Northern Spark is a free, annual, dusk-to-dawn, multidisciplinary arts festival and draws tens of thousands of Minnesotans each year.

Loring Park Art Festival | July 30-31 | Minneapolis

Flint Hills International Children’s Festival | June 4-5 | Saint Paul
