At last! Summer is almost here. It is time to start thinking about all the great activities we can do with our families outdoors. We all know that physical activity is essential. Still, the reality is most of us simply don’t move enough, including our children. Make it your goal this summer to move more as a family while having fun!

Visiting Local Playgrounds and Parks
In Roseville, MN, we are so lucky to have a plethora of well-maintained parks and playgrounds all around our beautiful city. The convenience of having 30 parks, 679 acres of parkland, and open space makes it almost impossible to use location as an excuse for not getting outside with the family. Make a trip to the park part of your regular routine. Your kids will love getting to burn off some energy and you can join in on the fun for some exercise. You will be amazed how much cardio it is to keep up with the kiddos!
