Spend your morning at Como Park Zoo & Conservatory, where families can get up close with giraffes, gorillas, lions, and more—all for free. The zoo’s walkable layout is ideal for kids, and the adjacent conservatory offers a peaceful escape filled with exotic plants and vibrant flowers. For even more fun, pop over to Como Town for rides that are perfect for younger children.

Pro Tip: The Blaze Sparky Show takes place daily at 11:30 am and features the zoo's seals and sea lions.

After lunch, head to Wheel Fun Rentals at the dock where you can rent swan paddleboats, canoes, kayaks, or paddleboards or stay on land with tandem and single bikes. Next, head to Harriet Alexander Nature Center, a hidden gem nestled in Roseville’s Central Park.
