National Taco Day in Roseville
We love celebrating the odd holiday’s like National Ice Cream Day [July 19th] and National Running Day [June 4th] – but we only celebrate National Running Day because we have to get ready for National Ice Cream Day!
Did you know that October 4th is National Taco Day? Gobble up tacos on National Taco Day at these locations in Roseville, Minnesota.
La Casita Mexican Restaurant
La Casita combines fresh ingredients with an authentic border style. With tacos ranging from Mahi-Mahi to marinated steak, you’ll bite into an authentic Mexican flavored taco. Also, every Wednesday they have $.99 tacos from 7pm until close. We could get on board with that!
Lucky’s 13 Pub
Have you seen Lucky’s 13 Pub menu? It’s so HUGE that you might have missed that they have two taco styles to try, Korean Tacos (starter) & Fish Tacos (entree). And don’t forget about their Taco Salad which is a taco… but in salad form. You may have heard of Taco Tuesday… but at Lucky’s they have Taco Wednesday (rebels!). Come in for a deal on tacos, Corona’s and margaritas.
Ol’ Mexico
Have you ever heard of a pocket taco? Ol’ Mexico can introduce you to this unique menu item! A half slice of pocket bread is filled with your choice of meat, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese, smothered in enchilada sauce and topped with sour cream. They also serve their tacos with gluten free corn tortillas so everyone can enjoy National Taco Day!
Joe Senser’s Sports Theater
Even a sports bar can satisfy your taco cravings! Joe Senser’s has three different taco options to get your hands (and mouth) on, Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos, Chicken Avocado Ranch Tacos and Brisket and Gouda Tacos. We’re confident that you won’t be disappointed! Eating tacos on a Wednesday? Margaritas are only $3!
Chili’s Grill & Bar
New to the Chili’s menu you’ll find Fresh Mex Bowl’s. We think of these bowls as a deconstructed taco that is beautifully arranged in a bowl with your favorite mean, house-made salsa, cheddar cheese, pico de gallo, field greens, cilantro, crispy tortilla strips, avocado, and a drizzle of sauce. It takes the mess out of eating a taco but delivers the flavor! But of course, they have “normal” tacos, too.
India Palace
Although these India Palace dishes aren’t technically taco’s, they have a similar taco feel. An Indian bread, naan, is stuffed with ground chicken and baked in an Indian tandoor clay oven; you then bite into it like you do a taco! Or, try the South Indian special, dosa, thin rice crepes filled with your choice of fillings. Step out of the box and try something new!
