For those interested in history, science, culture and art, Roseville has several museums nearby. The first must see is the Bell Museum. This museum is located at the U of M campus in St. Paul and offers a planetarium and a natural history museum. You can opt to visit just one of these attractions or purchase a pass for both.
Next on the list is the Raptor Center. Here you can see raptors up and close. Take a tour to learn all about the incredible work of owls, hawks, falcons, and eagles. Not only is this a must see, but this center is also responsible for the preservation and the rescue of injured raptors. If you are in search of more animals consider a trip to the Como Zoo. Other museums nearby that are great for the whole family include the Children’s Museum and the Science Museum.
If your kid’s more into shows than science, there is plenty of that to go around as well! At Children’s Theatre Company, Corduroy (best for ages 4+) will be searching for his lost button through April 2. Once on this Island, Jr., which tells the story of a young girl with a big heart (best for ages 7+), will be playing at Stages Theatre March 3-17.
