Roseville is Wild about Hockey

Minnesota is known as the “State of Hockey”, which makes sense since Minnesota is home to 10,000 rinks (AKA, Minnesota’s 10,000 lakes).

Minnesota is also the birth place of several NHL hockey players, such as current Minnesota Wild players, Zach Parise and Matt Cullen, Jake Guentzel (Pittsburgh Penguins), and Blake Wheeler (Winnipeg Jets). Guentzel’s dad is the assistant coach with the Minnesota Gopher Men’s Hockey team, making them a pretty popular Minnesota hockey family!
