Roseville gained two new fabulous restaurants at the end of 2015 that we can’t ignore: Pizza Lucé and Rojo Mexican Grill (Closed 2017). We hope that you’ve already visited both locations but if you haven’t we’re requesting that you get a group together for a night out in Roseville!
Their names both giveaway their menu style; Pizza Lucé is obviously serving pizza and Rojo Mexican Grill is obviously serving up favorite Mexican dishes. What you don’t know is that their menus are full of unexpected flavors! Let us break is down for you.

A favorite pizza joint among Minnesotan’s, Pizza Lucé serves some innovative and unique flavor combos on their pizzas. Special note: all of their pizzas can be made on gluten free crust.

Pizza Athena: fresh spinach, tomato, feta cheese, Kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, red onions, Greek oregano and toasted garlic with light mozzarella on Bianca sauce.

Baked Potato Pizza: smothered pizza crust in buttery, garlic baby red mashed potatoes and top it with broccoli, fresh-diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese and chopped bacon. Served with a side of sour cream.
There’s more pizza where those came from on their specialty pizza menu. Or just build your own pizza because you know what you like best. Before we switch to some other menu favorites we have to share this vegan pizza! Yes, they do vegan pizza, too. We’re not vegan but hey, this looks tasty!

They also have appetizers, salads, hoagies, pastas, and delish drinks on the menu. It’s safe to say that we will be eating here often!
Rojo Mexican Grill | 502 Rosedale Center – Closed in 2017

The newest addition to Rosedale Center, Rojo Mexican Grill is grilling up your favorite Mexican dishes but with, what we’re calling, an upscale twist and flavor profile.

First, start with the complimentary chips & salsa and obviously immediately order a margarita!
Then have the challenge of ordering something off of their extensive menu filled with appetizers, soups & salads, tacos [fish, carne asada, vegetarian, carnitas, ground beef, shrimp, lobster, & chicken – oh my!], enchiladas [they have a lobster enchilada – what!], and entrees [some of the entrees are non-Mexican if you prefer]. All are served with refried beans and sweet rice. We don’t know what sweet rice is exactly but it is so amazingly delicious!

After all of that, it’s time to get over to Rojo Mexican Grill, grab a margarita and start planning out our meal very carefully!
