Enjoy the Outdoors

OVALumination Guidant John Rose MN OVAL Roseville, MN

The Bell Museum’s Date Night in a Box is perfect for lovers of the great outdoors. Choose the bird watching box and head to Reservoir Woods Park to explore the trails and see which Minnesota birds you can spot.  Next, work up an appetite for your Valentine’s dinner at the Guidant John Rose MN OVAL (the largest outdoor sheet of refrigerated ice in North America!) with some ice skating. Due to COVID-19 policies, skaters must pre-purchase tickets for a specified time, so make sure you do that before going over!

Get Some Gaming In

Game-loving couples will not want to miss Roseville’s newest attraction, Starcade. $15 gets you all-you-can-play arcade games from the 70s-90s. Don’t worry, they have drinks and snacks for purchase, so you can spend as long as you want playing. Click here to see a list of available games. Once you’re gamed out, Hidden MN is your next stop. Put your mind to work solving one of their puzzle rooms, try your hand at ax throwing, or let out some anger in the rage room.

Shop ‘Til You Drop

Rose & Loon - Midwest Makers Market

Rose & Loon

Rosedale Center is a shoppers paradise! With over 120 stores and many restaurant options, you can shop ’til you drop. Start at one of the anchors (Von Maur, Macy’s, or JCPenney) before moving into the main mall area. You won’t want to miss Rose & Loon, a curated collection from Midwest makers. After a busy day shopping, treat yourself to a facial, manicure, or pedicure (or all three!) at Rocco Altobelli Salon without even leaving the mall.

Enjoy a Nightcap

Bent Brewstillery Roseville, MN

Top off the day with a drink at one of Roseville’s two breweries. Bent Brewstillery is a craft brewery and small batch distillery. It was the first micro-brewery & distillery combination in the state. They strive to bring tasty brews and powerful booze to the public that are diverse and rebel against rigid style guidelines. Newly opened High Pines Brewing aims to produce exceptional brews with a flourish of the unexpected.

Cheers to a successful Valentine’s weekend! 🍻
